This specialty Bok Choy has beautiful golden heart. Round wrinkled leaves, dark green outer leaves. The semi folded center leaves turn golden after frost or cold weather. Petiole is flat and white. Plant weighs ~400g, up to 700g. Center leaves are tender, high quality and very delicious.
It is the best to grow in late summer or autumn to let it grow into cold winter or through winter. When Wu Choy exposes to low temperature (-5 C to 5 C) for more than 2 weeks, it will form a semi-head. Golden Wu’s head will turn golden yellow which is very favorable, juicy and crispy.
